1. Introduction

Stunned Candles (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides trading education, mentorship, custom Expert Advisor (EA) and indicator development, trading bots, and free trading tools and signals for MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through stunnedcandles.com (the “Site”) and our related channels, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using the Site or contacting us through it, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

Contact form. When you message us through the contact form, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address and message.

Custom trading system request form. When you ask for a quote for a custom EA or indicator, we collect your first and last name, email address, country, Telegram username, the type of system (indicator or EA), the platform (MT4, MT5, TradingView), the market you trade, and your description of the strategy and rules. Your strategy may be your own intellectual property. We use it only to quote and deliver your project (see Section 5).

Purchases and mentorship enrollment. When you buy a product or enroll in a program (for example a mentorship plan, the trading automation course, or a paid bot), we collect the billing and order details needed to process your order, such as your name, email address, billing country and order history. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers (see Section 6). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Direct messages and emails. If you write to us by email, Telegram or YouTube, we collect the contents of your messages and your account handle on that platform.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and the software that runs it (WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce) may automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of access. We use this to deliver the Site, keep it secure and understand how it is used.

2.3 Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that it needs to work, for example to remember items in your shopping cart and keep your session secure. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Site, such as the cart, from working.

2.4 Information from third-party platforms

We run a YouTube channel and public and private Telegram channels. If you interact with us there, the platform’s own privacy policy applies to the data it collects. We see only what the platform shows us, such as your username, comments and messages sent to us.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your messages and support requests;
  • prepare quotes, and build, test and deliver custom trading systems;
  • process orders, payments and enrollments, and deliver purchased products and mentorship sessions;
  • share free Expert Advisors, indicators and signals, and provide updates and after-launch support;
  • send service messages, such as order confirmations, delivery details, and changes to our terms or this policy;
  • send news, offers or educational content where you asked for it or the law allows, with an easy way to opt out;
  • keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix technical problems;
  • improve the Site, our tools and our services; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK and similar regions)

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on:

  • Contract: to provide the products and services you request, including quotes, custom development, mentorship and purchases.
  • Legitimate interests: to run and secure the Site, answer enquiries, prevent fraud and improve our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: for optional marketing messages and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to keep records and respond to lawful requests.

5. Your strategies and project materials

Trading strategies, rules and ideas you send us for a custom system remain yours. We use them only to quote, build, test and support your project. We do not publish them, share them with other customers, or reuse them in other products, and we limit access to those who need it to work on your project. Source code and executables delivered to you are covered by the terms agreed for your project.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

  • Hosting and website providers that run the Site and store its data.
  • Payment processors that handle your payment. [Name your processor(s), for example Stripe, PayPal, a card gateway or a crypto payment provider.] They process your payment details under their own privacy policies.
  • Communication platforms we use to deliver services and support, such as Telegram, email providers, and any video-call tool used for mentorship sessions.
  • Professional advisers, authorities and courts, where required by law or to protect our rights, safety or property.
  • A successor, if our business is sold or reorganized, in which case your information would move under the same protections.

The Site may also load resources from third parties, such as web fonts, which means those providers may see your IP address.

7. International transfers

We serve customers worldwide, and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or the protections offered by our providers.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:

  • enquiries and quote requests: generally up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a project or purchase;
  • order, payment and project records: as long as needed to provide support, and as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes (generally up to 6 years);
  • marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricted access and secure (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please never send us your trading account passwords or broker logins. We do not need them to build or support your tools.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete your information;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
  • opt out of marketing messages, using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us; and
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@stunnedcandles.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

California residents: you may request to know, delete or correct the personal information we hold about you, and we will not treat you unfairly for doing so. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. Trading is not suitable for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site links to other services, including YouTube, Telegram, and file-sharing or broker websites. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing your information.

13. No financial advice

Content on the Site, including free signals, Expert Advisors, indicators, education and mentorship, is for educational purposes only. It is not financial advice or a promise of profit. Trading forex, metals, crypto and synthetic indices carries a high level of risk, and you can lose more than you intend. Our tools do not collect or access your trading account or broker credentials unless you choose to share such information with us.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a new effective date. If we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, for example with a notice on the Site.
