Anyone who has traded Boom and Crash indices knows the feeling. You wait through a long, slow drift, you finally enter, and a spike goes the other way. Or you catch a spike and give it all back on the next few trades. These markets reward discipline, but staying disciplined for hours in front of a chart is hard.
That’s the problem this tool is meant to solve. It automates part of your technical analysis and execution, so you apply the same rules on every trade instead of making decisions when you’re tired. This guide covers how it works, how to configure it, and how to test it properly before risking real money.
Why Boom and Crash Are Hard to Trade Manually
Boom and Crash are synthetic indices available on Deriv. Boom indices drift down and spike up, while Crash indices drift up and spike down. That pattern creates three common problems:
- Spikes are unpredictable. One badly timed entry can erase many small wins.
- Manual analysis is draining. Hours of chart-watching lead to rushed, emotional decisions.
- Consistency is difficult. Without fixed rules, your results depend on your mood that day.
A good tool doesn’t make these markets easy, but it removes much of the repetitive analysis and keeps your execution consistent.
What the Tool Does
This tool is an expert advisor(EA) that comes preset with the needed settings to be used on boom and crash pairs. Timeframes and usage information are shown in the YouTube video.
How to Install and Run It
- Download the files. They’re free through my Telegram channel (link below).
- Install on your platform. [Add: platform and folder, e.g. MetaTrader 5 > File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts or Indicators.]
- Refresh the Navigator. Restart the platform or refresh so the tool appears in the list.
- Attach it to a chart.
- Allow automated trading. If it’s an EA, make sure algorithmic trading is enabled in your platform settings.
Keep your lot size small relative to your balance. Boom and Crash can move sharply, and oversized positions are the fastest way to blow an account.
Test Before You Trust It
No tool removes risk, however good it looks. Before going live:
- Start on a demo account. Let it run through a meaningful number of trades.
- Review the results honestly. Look at drawdown, not just profit.
- Check the fit. Make sure its behavior matches your risk tolerance and financial goals.
- Go live slowly. If you move to a real account, start with the smallest position sizes.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
